Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of citeproduct, a GEO (AI search readiness) audit tool operated by an individual based in Australia. We keep them plain and honest: the product never guarantees AI citations or rankings, and neither do these terms.
Last updated: June 26, 2026.
Who we are, and your acceptance
citeproduct ("citeproduct", "we", "us", or "our") is a GEO (AI search readiness) audit tool available at citeproduct.com. citeproduct is operated by an individual based in Australia.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of citeproduct. By using citeproduct, creating an account, or submitting a URL to scan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
citeproduct helps you understand how well AI engines can read, understand, and cite a web page. Depending on your access, the service may include:
- Page audit: a fast, rules-based readiness score for a single page.
- AI visibility: an analysis where a model reads a page and judges its readiness, plus an AI visibility snapshot.
- Full-site audit: analysis across multiple pages of a site.
- Reports and copy-paste fixes: scores, findings, and suggested changes (such as structured data, llms.txt, FAQ, and content rewrites) you can apply to your own pages.
citeproduct is currently in beta. Features may be incomplete, may change, or may be added or removed, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to enter into a binding agreement, to use citeproduct.
When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate and current information. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure, and you are responsible for activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been used without your permission, notify us promptly at [email protected].
Acceptable use
You may only submit and scan URLs that you own or that you are otherwise permitted to analyze. You agree not to:
- use citeproduct for any illegal, infringing, harmful, or abusive purpose;
- scrape, harvest, overload, reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the service;
- interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, its infrastructure, or other users; or
- circumvent or exceed usage limits, rate limits, or access controls.
We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms, or to protect the service and its users.
AI outputs, and no guarantees
Reports, scores, and recommendations are informational estimates to help you make decisions. They are not promises of results.
- We do not guarantee that any AI engine will cite or recommend you, that you will rank in any search or AI result, or that you will achieve any specific outcome.
- AI visibility results can vary between runs. The same page can produce slightly different scores or visibility readings, which is why we report ranges and dated snapshots rather than fixed guarantees.
- Third-party AI engines change their models, behavior, and answers over time, and they are outside our control.
- citeproduct is not professional, SEO, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on a report.
Intellectual property
The citeproduct tool, software, branding, content, and scoring methodology are owned by us or used under licence, and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in them except as needed to use the service.
You keep all rights to your own site content. By submitting a URL, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to fetch and process that URL and its publicly available content solely to provide the service to you. You may use the reports and fixes we generate for your own sites.
Third-party services
citeproduct relies on third-party services to operate, including AI providers (such as the engines we query) and email delivery. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, behavior, accuracy, or any change they make. A disruption to a third-party service may affect parts of citeproduct.
Paid plans (when available)
citeproduct is currently a free beta. Paid plans are planned but not yet available. When paid plans launch, the pricing, billing, and refund terms will be presented to you at the point of purchase and added to these Terms. Until then, no billing terms apply.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate or reliable.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, citeproduct will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the service.
citeproduct is a free beta operated by an individual. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for all claims relating to the service will be limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim, which, during the free beta, is zero.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any reasonable claims, losses, or costs arising out of your misuse of the service or your violation of these Terms, including your submission of URLs you were not permitted to analyze.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or if we need to protect the service or other users. You may stop using citeproduct at any time, and you may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will note them (for example, by updating the date below or by notice in the product). Your continued use of citeproduct after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State or Territory], Australia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the service will be brought before the courts located in [State or Territory].
